Host was adapted into a made for tv movie by the US Network in 1998. Dr. Joe Messenger, played by Peter Gallagher, gives into the seduction of a terminally ill woman. He later finds that she has uploaded herself into a computer. Now she threatens to destroy his family from beyond the grave. ITV made Prophecy into a feature in 1995. A Ouija Board, an archaeologist, and a widower with his son are all connected.I’ve read lots of books that feature stalkers in all shapes sizes and forms but Marcus is truly one of the most ‘weaselly’ of characters, petulant, childish, whiney, self centred and arrogant I listened to the book's audio version. The narrator was just OK. This book would have strongly benefited from multiple narrators since it was not always clear who was saying what as each chapter unfolded.

Peter James is author of the long running Detective Roy Grace series. I Follow You is a stand alone, psychological thriller that had me enthralled from start to finish. I love his writing style and the way he writes his characters - you will have strong feelings about them all. This story is a rollercoaster and I loved it. James became a successful producer of 26 films. The first movie he produced was 1971’s The Corpse Grinders. In addition to Corpse Grinders, Peter James has also produced such movies as Under Milk Wood, Dead of Night, Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things, Spanish Fly, Jericho Mansions, Head in the Clouds, and The Bridge of San Luis Rey. He was the executive producer of 2004’s take on Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice.

Publication Order of Non-Fiction Books

The latest book in the Lincoln Lawyer series comes out this month. This will be the 7th book in that series, and the 41st book in the Bosch Universe. Harry Bosch also plays a big part in this book. Marcus never really got over his first love at school and even though he is now married with children, he still thinks of her. I thought this one had all the Peter James story telling magic through a slow-pace, realistic narrative.
