High intensity interval Power Pilates is a dynamic form of Pilates that combines precision and focus of a traditional Pilates session with dynamic energy of high intensity workout. This is a cardio and strength class for those with a fair level of fitness. It is a great way to help reach your 150 mins per week cardio goal. The Pilates sections will count towards the recommended two strength sessions per week. It is a high energy class where you can expect to sweat and laugh lots.It is also not advisable for those who have undergone recent surgery to perform it, specifically if the intervention took place less than a year ago. In addition, Pilates is contraindicated for those people who have one or more open wounds, as well as those who have excessive eye pressure.
